1. Meeting With You
We will work around your schedule to find a time that is most convenient for you. In this stage we will see if an estate sale is the best option for you. If we come to an agreement, we both will sign the contract that hires us.
We want to make your house look like a store. We will clean and display every item in your house. Our motto is "An item not seen is an item not sold". This is the stage that takes the longest, because we want to make sure all cabinets, drawers, and boxes are cleared out making sure everything has a chance to be being sold.
We spend hundreds of dollars in advertisements for each sale. The more people that enter your sale, the more money you will make. We advertise on multiple estate sale websites, our webpage, newspapers, and flyers. We also send out an email to all of our subscribers letting them know we have a sale that they would be interested in attending.
We will price every item in your house. Although we know the value of most items we come into contact with on a regular basis, we equip each one of our staff members with an IPad to look up the current secondary market values for items we are uncertain about. This ensures you recieve the maximum profit.
5. Day of the Sale
We typically will have 2, 3, or 4 day sales depending on volume of goods in your house. We will staff your sale appropriately making sure we have enough staff to answer questions, keep things organized, manage the register, and help customers move purchased items into their cars.
7. After The Estate Sale
Within 7 days after the estate sale we will send you a check minus our commission. If a clean out is requested, we will remove all left over items, vacuum the entire house, deep clean the bathrooms and kitchens, and pick up all trash. This makes sure the house is very presentable and move-in ready.
